Confirm the hole size of your guitar's knob：
|
SOUND-G replacement tuning machine knobs are designed to fit on Grover, Schaller and Gotoh tuning machines.
We prepare for two kinds of hole size (Size M and Size L) for that purpose.
If the tuning machine maker of guitar on hand is unclear, you can know adaptation hole size by detaching knobs from guitar once and measuring the size of pin.

Please prepare vernier caliper in order to measure it precisely.
|
|
1. Take out the screws:
|
|
Take out the screws of knobs in driver (plus or minus).
|
|
2. Detach the knobs from guitar:
|
|
Then, pay attention because washers are easy to come off and be missing.
（Exclusive screws are attached to a product, but washers just use existing things.）
|
|
3. Measure a diameter of the pin in a vernier caliper:
|
|
Measure it matching vernier caliper with circumference of the pin.
|
|
4. Measure length between planes in a vernier caliper:
|
|
Measure it matching vernier caliper with planes of the pin.
|
|
5. Confirm adaptation size:
|
|
Size M fits to diameter size of the pin in a range of 3.9mm (0.154") from 3.7mm (0.146") and length between planes of the pin in a range of 3.5mm (0.138") from 3.3mm (0.13").
Size L fits to diameter size of the pin in a range of 4.2mm (0.165") from 4.0mm (0.157") and length between planes of the pin in a range of 3.7mm (0.146") from 3.5mm (0.138").
If the diameter of the pin is larger than 4.2mm (0.165") or is smaller than 3.7mm (0.146"), please inquire because of special size. We can support several kinds special size on the production process.
